Bolsonaro allies opened company in tax haven – 05/25/2026 – Politics

The controllers of the Havengate fund, which received funding from Daniel Vorcaro in 2025 to finance a film about Jair Bolsonaro (PL), opened a company in Delaware in February this year. The American state is known as a tax haven, which allows the disclosure of partners and financial information to be omitted.

Havengate is managed by , Paulo Calixto, and real estate broker Altieris Santana. Documents obtained by Sheet show that they also manage the company MCC-4 Equity Fund GP LLC, which opened in Delaware on February 12.

The opening of the company in the state contrasts with the businesses that Calixto and Santana maintain in the USA, primarily based in Texas and Florida. Havengate and two other funds managed by the two are in the Texas state.

Havengate was used to receive R$61 million from Vorcaro that would be used in the film “”, about Jair Bolsonaro, as revealed by the website Intercept Brasil and confirmed the Sheet. The transfer took place between February and May last year.

Audios show that () personally negotiated the payments with Vorcaro, in dialogues in which the ex-president’s son calls the ex-banker “brother” and states that they will always be together.

The Federal Police are investigating whether the amount transferred to Havengate may have been used by Eduardo Bolsonaro, who lives in Texas. The former deputy denies it.

The company MCC-4 Equity Fund GP LLC, opened in Delaware, controls another, also managed by the duo, in Texas. This is MCC-4 Equity Fund LP.

The two are almost homonymous and have the term “fund” in their name, which indicates the branch of business. There is no further information about other potential partners and the purpose of the companies in the records.

The relationship between the two with the companies was confirmed by Sheet due to the opening of the Texas unit, a state that, unlike Delaware, requires the disclosure of the names of those responsible and annual reports.

The registration document says the Delaware company is managed by Altieris Santana. Other possible partners are not mentioned.

Through registration in Texas, the Sheet also found that, in the state, both have the same address as reference: Calixto’s office, in Dallas. This is also the registered address for Havengate and other companies that the lawyer represents. The firm handles immigration, consultancy and corporate law cases.

The address is different from that registered in the Delaware documentation, where the company is registered in Dover, the state capital, and is represented by the company A Registered Agent, which highlights “providing the maximum protection of personal privacy permitted by law”.

The Texan company had its first attempt to open by Paulo Calixto’s law firm rejected, as the document filed on February 13 did not contain the name of the managing partner. On the 17th of the same month, Calixto presented a new request.

A Sheet contacted Altieris Santana via his own professional email and sent messages to his phone number via WhatsApp on Wednesday (20). On Thursday (21), the reporter called the number, but received no response.

Calixto was contacted via his professional email and his office’s official contact on Wednesday and Thursday. The reporter also attended in person and called the firm in Dallas. A secretary responded that the two had not responded to the press and that questions should be sent by email.

In the questions sent, the report asked why the company was chosen to open in Delaware and whether any member of the Bolsonaro family would be linked to the business.

A Sheet also contacted Eduardo Bolsonaro via message on Wednesday and Thursday. The former deputy was asked if he or his family members had anything to do with the business, but he did not respond.

The company management model is similar to that of Havengate, which also has an LLC as administrator of an LP. As administrator, the LLC assumes responsibility for the LP’s business, which protects limited liability partners, who do not need to be identified when opening the company.

LLCs are common in the USA, as they shield the partners’ assets and have simplified taxation.

Eduardo Bolsonaro already had an LLC, Braz Global Holding LLC, with Paulo Generoso and André Porciúncula, who . The company managed another, Omni World Trades LLC, as revealed by

Altieri Santana appears as a person Eduardo trusts to carry out financial tasks.

The deputy says, for example, that Santana would travel “to have a personal meeting with whoever” to guarantee the arrival of resources for the film in the United States.
