The President of the United States, (Republican Party), said on Monday (May 25, 2026) that Iran’s enriched uranium “will be delivered immediately” to the USA to be destroyed. Earlier, the Republican had advanced them.
“The enriched uranium (nuclear dust!) will be immediately delivered to the United States for repatriation and destruction or, preferably, in conjunction and coordination with the Islamic Republic of Iran, destroyed on site or in another acceptable location, with the Atomic Energy Commission, or equivalent, as a witness to this process.”Trump na Truth Social.
When talking about negotiations with Iran, Trump said there will be a favorable agreement for everyone. Otherwise, a pact will not be signed.
The American president declared that he wants Iran to sign the , an initiative to normalize relations with Israel. Trump claimed to have presented the proposal to leaders of 7 Gulf countries on Saturday (May 23) during the ceasefire with the Iranians.
The agreements were signed in 2020, during Trump’s first term, and sealed the establishment or resumption of diplomatic relations between Israel and countries such as the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Morocco and Sudan. The initiative aimed to isolate Iran and expand cooperation between Arab governments and Israel, mainly in trade and defense.
The conflict in Gaza, however, has directly affected the willingness of Arab countries to expand or formalize ties with the Israeli government. The prolonged military offensive is seen by the international community as disproportionate.
