Registration is open until June 19th for the ninth edition of, promoted by The award recognizes reports about , and published from June 25th, 2025 to June 19th, 2026, in print, digital, television, radio and podcast formats.
In total, R$36,000 in prizes will be distributed. In each category, there will be three winners: first place will receive R$10,000, second, R$5,000, and third, R$3,000, in addition to honorable mentions.
In the mathematics category, reports on research, mathematics and technological applications linked to the area, such as machine learning and computer graphics, can compete. The scientific dissemination category includes works on different fields of science, focusing on the impacts and challenges of scientific production.
The works will be evaluated based on criteria such as journalistic relevance, originality, depth, clarity and quality of execution. The award ceremony will be held on August 29, during the National Mathematics Festival, in Rio de Janeiro.
