PL files flexible working day PEC after advance of 6 X 1

Text was headed by Rogério Marinho, coordinator of Flávio’s campaign; Alcolumbre must send a proposal to the CCJ

Senator Rogério Marinho (PL-RN), coordinator of Flávio Bolsonaro’s (PL) campaign for the Presidency, filed in the early hours of this Thursday (May 28, 2026) a Proposal for Amendment to the Constitution that allows the negotiation of working hours between companies and employees.

The PEC was filed with the Senate and will be sent to the Constitution and Justice Committee. The measure was presented hours after the Chamber approved the end of the 6 X 1 scale, which will now be analyzed by the Senate.

Earlier, deputy Marcel van Hattem (Novo-RS) had said that the proposal would be presented to the president of the Senate, Davi Alcolumbre (União Brasil-AP), to correct, according to him, the “injustice” made in the Chamber.

To file a PEC in the Senate, at least 27 signatures are required. In total, 36 senators signed the proposal to make working hours more flexible.
