“I was scared because I’ve never seen Joe like this before or since. Never,” she told CBS News Sunday Morning. The full interview will air this weekend.
“I don’t know what happened,” she said in a segment of the interview released Wednesday. “As I was watching it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s on a roll.’ And it scared me to death,” she added.

But immediately after the debate, Jill Biden praised her husband’s performance, telling him in front of a crowd of supporters, “Joe, you did a great job. You answered every question, you had all the facts.”
