O Israeli ambassador to the UN announced, this Thursday (28), the suspension of relations with the secretary general of the organization, António Guterres, when denouncing the decision, not yet made public, to include Israel in the list of countries responsible for sexual violence in conflicts.
“We are done with this Secretary-General,” declared Ambassador Danny Danon in a video message published on the X network. The Israeli mission clarified that this means the “freezing” of its relations with the UN Secretary-General’s office until the end of his term, on December 31, 2026.
