Rome – The organizers of this year’s Rome Pride have excluded Italy’s only Jewish LGBTIQ organization “Keshet Italia” from taking part with their own car. The background is a dispute over the organization’s stance on the Gaza war. In principle, the parade is open to everyone who feels connected to the values of the Pride movement. However, for an official car to be made, the political platform of the event must be supported, according to the organizers. The Rome Pride parade is scheduled for June 20th.
