Thirteen health workers were injured in an Israeli attack near a hospital in southern Lebanon. The Ministry of Health requests the intervention of the international community.
An Israeli attack near a hospital in southern Lebanon injured 13 employees, Lebanon’s health ministry said on Sunday. TASR informs about it according to AFP reports.
According to the Ministry’s statement, the attack in Tire caused extensive damage. The department called on the international community to “stop these escalating and expanding Israeli attacks.”
Attacks on Hezbollah
The Times of Israel news portal reported that Israeli defense forces released footage of an attack on an alleged command center of the militant Hezbollah movement in the Tire region of southern Lebanon. The army says the Israeli air force continues to attack Hezbollah targets in the area as well as other locations in southern Lebanon.
Israel launched this attack at a time when the army announced the occupation of the strategic Beaufort Castle in southern Lebanon. In addition, it stated that its troops advanced in the area of the Wadi al-Saluki stream.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that the capture of Beaufort Castle represented a “dramatic change” in Israel’s campaign against Hezbollah.
A cease-fire has been in effect between Israel and Lebanon since April 17, but both Israel and Hezbollah accuse each other of attacking each other.
