The Prime Minister of the Slovak Republic Robert Fico (Smer-SD) offers Slovakia as a suitable country for organizing any peace negotiations regarding the Ukrainian-Russian conflict. He informed about it in a video on the social network, saying that on this topic he also spoke with Russian President Vladimir Putin and welcomes him positive reaction.
“If anyone approaches us with an interest in organizing any event in Slovakia peace negotiations regarding the Ukrainian-Russian conflict, can count on our hospitality,” stated the Prime Minister. According to him, SR is small, but extremely active country v international relations.
It is incomprehensible to him that Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy refuses a ceasefire. At the same time, the Prime Minister announced that in will go on an official visit to Turkey in January and in February he is to meet with The Holy Father in the Vatican. According to his words, he also wants to solve the end of the war conflict in Ukraine.
Putin announced on Thursday (December 26) that Slovakia is ready to host talks between Russia and Ukrainewhile Moscow is not opposed to hosting such negotiations.
