The singer Charli xcx33, announced this Monday (1) his new album “Music, Fashion, Film“. The release, according to a post on the artist’s social media, is scheduled for July 24th, with 11 new tracks. The news comes after the release of the singles “Rock Music” and “SS26”, in May.
In addition to the songs, the artist also revealed the cover of the project, which features big names in black and white photographs: Aidan Zamiri, John Cale, from the band Velvet Underground, Marc Jacobs, renowned fashion designer and filmmaker Martin Scorsese pose together alluding to the three arts of the album’s title.
“My new album, Music, Fashion, Film, will be released on July 24th,” Charli wrote in the Instagram post caption. “11 songs, 30 minutes and 5 seconds. Now available for pre-order. Love you guys xx.”
The electropop artist reached the music charts in 2024 with the album “Brat”, and said that her next release would be very different from the last project, marked by electrifying beats and auto-tune. In a cover story for British Vogue in April, Charli said: “For me, it is. We know there will be people who are uncomfortable with it, but that’s okay.”
In addition to the new album, the singer will headline major festivals in the United States: Charli xcx is among the main attractions at Lollapalooza 2026, in Chicago, Outside Lands, in San Francisco, and Austin City Limits, in Texas. Recently, she, a special album for the film adaptation of “Wuthering Heights”, directed by Emerald Fennell.
