Police were called to a home in Muscatine on Monday where found four people with fatal gunshot wounds, said local police chief Anthony Kies at a press conference. Police later located the suspect in the city, 52-year-old Ryan Willis McFarland, who took his own life while being interviewed by police, Kies said.
Authorities found them later, according to the police chief in other parts of the city, two men were shot, who were apparently also relatives of McFarland. The names of the victims or any other details have not yet been released. The investigation into the shooting is ongoing and police are examining crime scenes and interviewing witnesses. But Kies has already confirmed that McFarland had a criminal record, AP adds.
