“Novo Desenrola Brasil, with 24 days of operation, has already renegotiated 1.4 million operations with discounts of 85%, on average, on the original debt. From R$ 20 billion, the debt fell to less than R$ 3 billion for these families. More than half of them, 854 thousand, with the discount obtained, were able to pay off their debts in cash”, said the Minister of the Civil House during this Wednesday’s ministerial meeting, led by the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, at Palácio do Planalto.
Miriam also declared that the government will still launch the Desenrola Adimplentes program. “We are going to help those who pay their installments on time, but who struggle a lot to do so and who also need to improve their conditions,” he said.
Move Motos, blouse fee and 6×1
Another program that has yet to be launched by the government is Move Motos, which will offer financing for app drivers.
The minister also highlighted that, in recent months, the Lula government eliminated the tax on blouses, which was highly unpopular, and began to reduce the payment queue at the National Social Security Institute (INSS).
Miriam highlighted the approval, in the Chamber, of the reduction in working hours. “The approval of the PEC to end the 6×1 scale in the Chamber of Deputies was also an important victory and we are now awaiting its processing in the Senate”, he stated.

Ministerial meeting to define strategy
President Lula called a ministerial meeting this Wednesday to define what the federal government’s propaganda strategy will be in the last months of his term.
The president’s idea is to align the dissemination of the main programs with electoral potential for the reelection campaign, such as Desenrola 2.0 and the income tax exemption for those earning up to R$5,000.
