The series will bring ten stories taking place in exotic Tunisia, which connect the space of the newly opened Slovak embassy and its employees.

Each episode works as a separate story and will offer viewers the holiday atmosphere that Slovaks love and know very well. The smell of the sea brings a carefree feeling of summer and relaxation. The character Marián Mitaš (Martin Skala) comes to Tunisia to start a new life.

During the two months of filming in Tunisia, the actor’s family also visited him, he himself was also several times in Slovakia. “We made one trip to Kelibia. We rented a car in Tunis and actually traveled all day. We visited several such spots in the country as well, which were again completely different settlements than the capital Tunis. Even smaller, a little more than Robert Rodriguez’s From Dusk Till Dawn. But again we arrived at a place that was completely under construction, it was actually full of tourists. There were an awful lot of uncompleted buildings, but that’s the way it is, it’s symptomatic of Tunis, that a high-rise building is built and then it actually remains under construction and no one smells there, it’s not used,” explained Mitaš.

“They also explained it to us, the locals, that the government and ministers change there very often and everyone has their own construction companies, and every time a minister changes, all projects actually stop and some new projects start, so an awful lot of projects are under construction there. We had a fantastic little house in Kelibia that was converted into a hotel with about three or four rooms. And that coast is indescribable!” continued the artist.

After the shock came a pleasant surprise. “Although there were a lot of tourists there, that stretch of coast is very long, and by some chance we got to the beach, where there were deckchairs, umbrellas, and there were maybe forty such spots, and about three were filled. And we actually had that spot to ourselves all day. The water was completely crystal blue. Well, I have never seen such water anywhere, which has a sandy bed and such translucency and color. Really, that was something special. It’s a great tip if someone goes to Tunisia,” recommended by Marián Mitaš.
