It’s not just a political disagreement: Chega supporters are the target of reviews at level guys e moral.
The ICS/ISCTE/Gfk survey published in Expresso shows that almost half of those interviewed (40%) classify Chega supporters as a real or moral threat.
In an unprecedented analysis (asking interviewees to describe the parties’ supporters), Chega’s followers do not receive kind words.
“Extremists”, “fanatics”, “fascists” and “racists” join more personal descriptions or attacks: “corrupt”, thieves”, “liars”, “stupid” or “crazy”. 41% of respondents used one, or several, of these descriptions.
The second group that poses a greater threat are supporters of PCP, but far from Chega’s values: 6%.
But overall, those who occupy the last place in an average rating (from 0 to 10) are the supporters of BE, with just 3.6 points. Just above are the supporters of Chega, CDU and CDS-PP, with 3.7 points.
Supporters who have better note in this unusual inquiry are those of the PS, with 5.2 points – the only ones with a positive rating.
