Social Security has launched a feature that promises to make payments faster and more direct. The main change is the elimination of a step that, until now, was part of the process: it is no longer necessary to issue a payment document in advance.
According to , which cites information released by the Social Security Institute, users will now be able to access the Social Security Portal, select the amounts they wish to pay and generate references directly on the screen.
References appear at the moment
With this change, the process will be carried out more immediately. Instead of first issuing a physical or PDF document, the user chooses the amounts to be paid and then receives the necessary references to proceed with the settlement.
Usual payment channels remain available. Therefore, it is still possible to pay via Multibanco, MB WAY or IBAN transfer. According to the Social Security Institute, the change gives users more autonomy and makes the procedure less dependent on intermediate documents.
Proof goes to Inbox
After the payment is recognized, the receipt is sent to the user’s Inbox at Previdência Direta. Even so, anyone who wants to save the information can download a PDF with the generated references.
The functionality is also available in the Social Security app, allowing you to make payments via cell phone. The measure can be useful for those who need to pay amounts on the go, without using a computer. In practice, the new feature focuses the process on the essentials: choosing the values, generating references and paying through the available channels.
What changes for those who pay
The main difference is in the simplification of the route. The user no longer needs to create a document before making payment and now obtains references immediately. This change can reduce doubts and make the process more intuitive, especially for those who have amounts to regularize with the INSS. June calendar is already known
In addition to this news, the INSS has already released the social benefit payment calendar for June. This calendar allows beneficiaries to know when they receive pensions, subsidies and other support.
Rental support is paid on June 5th. Pensions, the Solidarity Supplement for the Elderly, the Reimbursement of Funeral Expenses and the Social Benefit for Inclusion are paid on June 8th. On June 16th, the first payment for unemployment, illness, parenthood and social work, as well as family benefits, is made.
Other support paid until the end of the month
The Child Support Guarantee Fund is paid on June 19th. The Social Insertion Income and the Salary Guarantee Fund are scheduled to be paid on June 23rd. The calendar ends on June 26th, with the second payment for unemployment, illness, parenthood and social action. On the same day, the Informal Caregiver Support Allowance will also be paid.
