Veteran supporting actor James Handy, known for his roles in Top Gun: Maverick, Jumanji, Logan e Arachnophobiadied this Friday, after being stabbed in a house in Los Angeles, police reported. He was 81 years old.

Local police officers were called on Wednesday morning to a residence in Tarzana, in the San Fernando Valley, after a man contacted emergency services and allegedly said: “I’m the man’s son. I just killed the man of sin”.

When they arrived at the scene, police found Handy unconscious in the front yard, with stab wounds to the chest. According to , he was transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed that Michael Gledhill44 years old, Handy’s girlfriend’s sonwas arrested on suspicion of murder.

Gledhill, who lived in the house with his mother, reportedly caught the agents’ attention shortly after their arrival and said that He was the person they were looking for. He is being held with a bond set at two million dollars.

The authorities did not reveal what may have led to the attack.
