Zverev complies and Cobolli does not even stain: Roland Garros outlines the final

Alexander Zverev and Flavio Cobolli will compete this Sunday in the men’s final at Roland Garros (3:00 p.m., Eurosport and DMAX) after the German beat the Czech Jakub Mensik 7-5, 6-2, 3-6 and 6-3 (3h 01m) and the Italian made it through without having to jump onto the court. In mid-afternoon, the tournament organization announced that his compatriot Matteo Arnaldi was out due to a stomach virus and, therefore, the final lineup was set up ahead of schedule. It will be the fourth final of a major tournament for Zverev — he previously played in the 2020 US Open, 2025 Australian Open and the major French, in 2024—and the first for Cobolli, 14th in the world.
