Santa Barbara (California) – The Austrian national soccer team’s first training session at Harder Stadium in Santa Barbara generated great interest on Friday. Around 3,000 onlookers, including many children, watched the ÖFB footballers perform under cloudy skies and temperatures around 20 degrees and then lined up for selfies and autographs. Before and during the 45-minute session, a big band played and performed, among other things, “I am from Austria”.
