SpaceX closes AI computing deal with Google after pact with Anthropic

The pact brings another high-profile customer to SpaceX after Anthropic, strengthening its AI narrative as it seeks to raise $75 billion in its upcoming initial public offering.

Anthropic said in May that it had reached a deal to use all the computing power at SpaceX’s Colossus 1 facility in Memphis, Tennessee, which houses more than 220,000 Nvidia processors and will give chatbot creator Claude 300 megawatts of new capacity in a month.

Annually, SpaceX’s computing resource access contracts with Anthropic and Google total approximately US$26 billion.
