Vienna – Three people were injured in an accident involving a horse-drawn carriage in downtown Vienna on Friday. The two horses shied away and began to gallop. The coachman fell from the carriage box and was run over by the vehicle, a police spokeswoman reported on Saturday. According to the professional rescue service, the 53-year-old suffered bruises and was taken to hospital. According to rescue spokesman Daniel Melcher, two of the four passengers were also slightly injured.
