Fire hits warehouse in Guarulhos and lasts more than 10 hours

Fighting a fire at a logistics company in Guarulhos (SP) for more than 10 hours. The fire started on Friday night (June 5, 2026) and continued into Saturday morning (June 6, 2026). So far, there are no records of victims.

Firefighters were called at 8:29 p.m. The flames hit materials stored on site, including PVC (polyvinyl chloride) pipes. The property is in front of a community, which was not affected by the fire. The company is located approximately 12 km from São Paulo International Airport.

According to the corporation, the fire reached 3,500 m² of a total area of ​​3,800 m² of the building. Seven vehicles were initially mobilized for the incident, a number that reached 12 during the night.

At the peak of the operation, 14 vehicles and 38 firefighters worked to fight the flames. Currently, teams are working in the aftermath phase to eliminate remaining outbreaks and prevent the fire from reigniting.

This Saturday morning, 10 vehicles and 29 firefighters remained at the scene. The causes of the fire are still unknown.
