Pope Leo XIV. chose Slovaks before the whole world! There was a grave silence in the Vatican: He did an unprecedented thing

During the traditional Sunday prayer of the Angel of the Lord, when in the Vatican Square St. Peter will gather thousands of believers from all corners of the world, this time the attention was focused on our small country. As reported by the Vatican News portal, Pope Leo XIV. he singled out the Slovak pilgrims in front of the crowd.

We are talking about the Temple Choir of the Madonna of Rye Island, who was on a spiritual pilgrimage these days, with Rome and the Vatican being one of his key stops. “Members of the Temple Choir from Dunajská Lužna sang today during their pilgrimage to Rome accompanied the Holy Mass in the chapel of the Slovak Broadcasting of the Vatican Radio in Palazzo Pio. Martin Jarábek presided over the Eucharist,” said a well-known medium.

At the same time, it highlighted the extremely emotional atmosphere that prevailed during this spiritual moment in the premises of the radio station. “The chapel, which has been a place of prayer for media workers of the Holy See and pilgrims from all over the world for decades, was filled with Slovak liturgical singing and gratitude for the gift of faith,” brought closer by the Vatican News portal.

The Holy Mass in the historical premises also had a deeper and symbolic dimension, as it was associated with important historical milestones of the local media. “On this occasion, we also commemorated 95 years since the beginning of the broadcasting of the Vatican Radio and 78 years of the independent Slovak newsroom. The Holy Mass was a thank you for all those who during these decades brought the voice of the Pope and the message of the Gospel to listeners in Slovakia and the world.” added the website.

After the end of the prayer, the Holy Father first delivered his traditional and urgent call for world peace. Right after drew attention to our compatriots and addressed a special and extremely warm greeting to the believers from Dunajská Lužna.
