The Yellowstone universe continues to show its strength. The new series Dutton Ranch (or Rancho Dutton, as it is being promoted in Brazil) recently debuted on Paramount+ and has already become one of the biggest hits in the platform’s history.
The production follows the beloved characters Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler, played by Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, after the events at the end of Yellowstone. Now, the couple leaves part of the past behind and tries to build a new life in Texas, running their own ranch and facing new challenges, powerful enemies and conflicts that threaten the family’s future.
But what seemed like a peaceful start quickly turns into a new battle for survival. Amid land disputes, livestock problems and influential regional rivals, Beth and Rip must prove they can preserve the Dutton legacy far from Montana.
The success of the series was immediate. According to official data from Paramount, Dutton Ranch recorded 12.9 million global views in its first week, becoming the biggest debut for an original series in the history of Paramount+. In addition, the production reached first place among the most watched series of the week in the United States and also achieved the position of biggest premiere of a new series on cable TV since 2023.
A large part of this performance can be explained by the enormous popularity of Beth and Rip, considered by many fans to be the most iconic couple in the entire universe created by Taylor Sheridan. On social media and forums dedicated to the franchise, expectations for the characters’ new phase were already enormous even before their debut.
In addition to the return of the protagonists, the series also features big names such as Ed Harris and Annette Bening in the cast, further expanding the scale of production.
With just a few episodes shown, Rancho Dutton has already established itself as one of the biggest television releases of 2026 and reinforces the dominance of the Yellowstone franchise in streaming. If the pace remains the same, everything indicates that Beth and Rip are far from ending their journey and the Dutton empire remains more alive than ever.
