Giant screens to watch the World Cup: here are the places across the country

The 2026 World Cup starts this Thursday with big screens and fanzones from north to south of the country. Portugal debuts in a week, on June 17th, against DR Congo, at 6pm.

The 2026 World Cup starts this Thursday, with Mexico-South Africa opening the tournament, at 8 pm, a game that will be broadcast live on TVI. But out of a total of 104 games, only 20 will be broadcast on open TV. So where to go to watch the games?
