The federal deputy (Novo) says that the president of the Legislative Assembly of São Paulo, , and his allies have been spreading false rumors about his fate in this year’s elections.

This Thursday (11), Salles denied that he is a candidate for state deputy and attributed the information to the head of the São Paulo Legislature.
“I keep [a pré-candidatura] to the Senate. This is from the Prado gang, who are spreading it to try to weaken competition”, said Salles.
“They are spreading this news because they are afraid of my candidacy for the Senate.”
