Vienna – The government wants to compensate for the lack of savings in the budget in the so-called “intermediate parking” of workers with further measures for partial retirement. The Neos announced on Thursday a reform of the measure, which should reduce costs for the general public by around 250 million euros per year. The Ministry of Social Affairs confirmed the plan in principle, but details still had to be negotiated. According to the ÖVP, there could be an assessment cap.
