American influencer Gwen McMullen caused quite a stir in Slovakia. Four months ago, she gained unexpected popularity in our region thanks to her incredible appearance with Prime Minister Roberto Fico. Since then, she promised her new fans that she would arrive in Slovakia. And so it really happened.
From behind the big puddle, Gwen flew to Prague, where she completed a photo shoot for the Vogue Czechoslovakia fashion magazine. On Wednesday, June 10, in the late evening, she arrived in Slovakia, where she stayed at the castle in Pezinok. Gwen did not come to Slovakia on her own, she has her own team that planned her program for the coming days.
This unique visit to our country caused a wave of reactions not only among its fans, but also from famous faces. One of the most influential influencers in our region – Zuzana Strausz Plačková – spoke on the social network.
The businesswoman spent her last days in London, from where she sent Gwen an eloquent message before leaving. “My cousin from America arrived in Slovakia. I want to say hello, welcome! But this is my kingdom, okay?” she joked. VIDEO from Plačkova can be found above the article.
What did she mean? Plačková became known throughout Slovakia in 2012 in the reality show Hotel Paradise. When social networks were still in their infancy in our region, she set up a profile where she chose the formula Queen Plačková as her username, meaning Queen Plačková in translation. After the arrival of Gwen, we now have two queens in Slovakia, and Zuzana doesn’t seem to like it very much.
