The Salzburg Chamber of Labor President Peter Eder is to be elected SPÖ leader at the state party conference on Saturday. In the STANDARD interview he takes stock of the budget policy of the black-blue state government. However, he does not want to pursue a fundamental opposition with the SPÖ, predicts a three-way fight in the 2028 state elections and is not ruling out talks with any party.
