Denied entry into Canada: Ghana’s Partey misses game against Panama


Toronto – Ghanaian national soccer player Thomas Partey will miss Africa’s first World Cup group game against Panama because he was refused entry by Canadian authorities. The Villarreal professional could not travel from Ghana’s World Cup headquarters in Boston to Canada due to visa problems, confirmed the world association FIFA. Partey is accused of multiple counts of rape and sexual assault in England. He pleaded not guilty in a London court.
