The singer Natanzinho Lima23, released this Friday (12) the first tracks from the DVD “In the League in Sampa (Live)”. The new production brings together new songs, re-recordings and appearances by artists such as Belo, Panda, Xand Avião and Leonardo.
In an interview with CNN Brasil, the artist revealed that the DVD reveals a new phase in his career. “It shows who I am today as an artist and also everything we dream for the future”, he said.
Natanzinho also mentioned the magnitude of putting on a show with an audience of more than 30 thousand people. “I never imagined that I would be able to join brega in São Paulo, but when I looked at that crowd it was impossible not to get emotional, São Paulo has always welcomed me very well, but the recording was the realization of a dream”, he revealed.
The release has the single as its main highlight. “The song has strong lyrics, which speak of a feeling that many people have experienced and, at the same time, it has a melody that sticks easily”, reflects the artist.
“It’s one of those songs that you hear once and find yourself singing afterwards. I hope the public embraces it in the same way that we embraced it from the moment it entered the repertoire.”
Furthermore, the singer also reveals the role of each of the new songs and those included on the DVD.
“The new ones bring stories that speak a lot to what the public likes to hear, talking about love, longing, suffering and also overcoming. The re-recordings are songs that marked important moments and gained a new look within the universe of brega”.
According to him, the repertoire is designed to excite and entertain at the same time. With the beats that only brega provides for Brazilian music.
“The re-recordings are songs that were already successful, but that gained a different interpretation, new arrangements and the energy of the cheesy project, the keyboard, the live feel”.
The DVD also features notable appearances from Brazilian music. For , it was the opportunity to share the stage with artists he respects and admires.
“My biggest dream was to sing with him and I managed to achieve that on the DVD. He is the king of the pagoda and it was phenomenal to have him with me. Xand, I don’t need to say, I’m a big fan. And Panda is a partner that I admire a lot and who has been treading a huge path as well. I certainly made several dreams come true on this DVD.”
