Tragedy in Rio de Janeiro. Six people have lost their lives after two helicopters collided in (Brazil). The accident occurred in the morning (local time) in the Recreio dos Bandeirantes neighborhood, which is located in the western area of the city, according to several official sources. None of the people on board have managed to survive.
One of the helicopters caught fire after falling inside a private parking lot, burning about twenty electric vehicles that were there. Support and emergency units are working at the scene of the accident. For now, The identity of the victims and the causes of the event are unknown.
Some of the fragments and pieces of the aircraft have been thrown towards some of the nearby buildings, some of them residential. Initially, five victims had been reported, but later a sixth was found who was in the second helicopter, which fell about 100 meters away from the impact siteaccording to EFE.
