After the attack on Továrenská Street in Lučenec, a woman ended up in hospital with injuries and in a serious condition on Sunday afternoon. TASR was informed about this by the spokeswoman of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Banská Bystrica, Nikola Žabková.

She specified that according to preliminary information, a 41-year-old man should have stabbed a 36-year-old woman in the stomach and chest. The man subsequently injured himself. According to the spokeswoman, several units of the Police Force are currently investigating the circumstances of the incident. “We will provide more detailed information about the deed only when the procedural situation allows,” Žabková pointed out.
