The majority of Brazilians, 49%, believe that the country’s economic situation is bad or terrible. This is what the BTG/Nexus survey revealed this Monday, 15th, points out.
According to the survey, 19% of voters consider the Brazilian economy to be excellent or good, while 31% think the situation is normal. They don’t know or didn’t answer make up 1%.
The survey also shows that 42% of Brazilians say they are not in debt, while 33% say they have financial commitments, but are in compliance, and 25% have debts overdue for more than 30 days.
Nexus heard 2,017 interviewees, by telephone, in the 27 units of the Federation, from June 12th to 14th. The margin of error is 2 pp, plus or minus, with a 95% confidence interval. The survey was registered with the Superior Electoral Court (TSE) under number BR-06645/2026.
