Pre-candidate for President said that Lula’s government is an ‘accordion ox, releases all the money, gives false positives, after the election comes interest rates, crime’
The former governor of Goiás and pre-candidate for the Presidency of the Republic, Ronaldo Caiado (PSD), stated that the numbers show that senator Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) already had the opportunity to consolidate himself as a candidate for Palácio do Planalto, but lost the scenario is no longer the same. “Flávio lost his ability to win the election of President Lula as a result of everything that has been shown in numbers by the polls.”

The presidential candidate compared the Lula administration to an “accordion ox”, an expression used in rural areas to describe an animal that gains and loses weight depending on the conditions of the period. According to him, the government increases the release of resources in election years, but later transfers the impacts of these measures to the population.

Asked about acts considered suspicious involving Flávio Bolsonaro and senator Ciro Nogueira (PP-PI), appointed as a pre-candidate for the Senate, Caiado stated that both must provide clarifications to their respective parties and voters. The governor also defended that the application of the law must occur equally for all citizens.
