On X, users suggested notes to contest the former minister’s speech, who said he agreed with the charge
The former Minister of Finance and PT pre-candidate for the government of São Paulo, said on Monday (June 15, 2026), during an event by the magazine Look in São Paulo, it was the governors who charged the “blouse fee”. On May 12, the president (PT) issued a provisional measure that eliminated the 20% import tax on international purchases of up to US$50, which had been in force since August 1, 2024, already under the PT government.
