Banker Daniel Vordaro paid for luxury trips worth more than R$200,000 in accommodation for senator Ciro Negueira (PP-PI), .
Among the list of “treats” paid for by the banker are international trips, making their own aircraft (private jets) available for the senator’s trips to luxury destinations such as ParisNew York, Lisbon and Courchevel (a popular ski resort in the French Alps).
In New York, Vorcaro paid for a suite like Royal at the luxurious Park Hyatt hotel, costing US$47,779.80 (approximately R$244 thousand). The banker also covered Ciro’s expenses at an event in Portugal, the amount of which may have reached the value of R$ 91,280.59.
In Courchevel, he guaranteed the stay of the senator and his wife in the exclusive “Chalet do Alberto Leite”, including providing the details of clothing and footwear suitable for skiing.
“DANIEL BUENO VORCARO asked the contact named “SEBASTIEN COURCHEVEL” (phone +33 6 15 43 77 09) to arrange the preparation of a room and transfer CIRO NOGUEIRA and FLÁVIA ROBERTA ROSALEN from HOTEL K2 PALACE, informing that both would be guests in the so-called “Alberto Leite’s Chalet”. Next, DANIEL BUENO VORCARO began to provide individualized personal information about CIRO NOGUEIRA and FLÁVIA ROBERTA ROLSALEN, such as height and shoe size, possibly for the purpose of purchasing clothing suitable for skiing,” according to the presentation.
The “package” also included payment of daily bills at starred restaurants. Investigations identified payment for a dinner at the renowned GIGI Italian restaurant in Paris (worth USD 1,981.12), including concierge, and payments for daily restaurants in Courchevel, such as La Soucoupe and Le Tremplin.
“Following the chronology, in a conversation held on 01/23/2025 between LEO SERRANO and DANIEL BUENO VORCARO, the latter asked if “are the boys going to continue paying the bill for the Ciro/Flávia restaurants until Saturday?” DANIEL BUENO VORCARO responded affirmatively (“Yes”)”, says the PF.
Ciro Nogueira also allegedly used properties owned by Daniel Vorcaro for personal purposesassuming ownership and enjoyment of the sites as if they were their own.
“Given the context of the relationship between the two, it can be concluded that this is yet another indication of receiving an undue advantage on the part of the public agent”, says the PF text.
Monthly fee
Still according to the PF, the banker paid a kind of allowance to the parliamentarian, from R$300 to R$500 thousandin addition to private jet travel and luxury restaurants.
The senator would also have used his position to benefit the banker, mainly with “Amendment nº 11 to PEC nº 65/2023”, known as the “Master amendment”.
“The parliamentarian presented Amendment nº 11 to PEC nº 65/2023, whose content was entirely designed by consultancy linked to Banco Masteras evidenced by communications obtained from the seized cell phone, file metadata and literal comparison between private minutes and the text actually filed with the Federal Senate”, says the text.
