This year brought several changes and interesting things. Miss Universe Slovakia 2026 came in a new dress. After Silvia Lakatošová, the beauty pageant was taken over by the stylist and make-up artist of Czech celebrities, Sam Dolce, who felt that the usual format needed a radical change. In an interview for the portal, he clarified that the project decided to adapt to the present. “My goal was for it to be open to all women – regardless of age, body type or life experience,” stated.
“I think that beauty has many forms and a woman can be beautiful at any age. For me, it is important that the competitor has personality, vision and reach. So that she has something to say and knows how to communicate it. So I’m looking for women with a story, not just a typical beauty model. For me, it is completely irrelevant whether the candidate is 20 years old, 50 years old or if she is plus size,” added Dolce.
Anička made it to the finals in the show Ruža pre nevesta, which is broadcast by Markíza TV. She fought for the heart of the sympathetic athlete Rasta Zvara with the winner of Miss Universe 2022, Karolína Michalčíková, who is a former editor and moderator of the Koktejl.sk portal, where she presented the show Koktejl News. In the end, Rasťo chose Karolina. However, their love did not last long and both of them are now happy with someone else.
