San Francisco – OpenAI boss Sam Altman has called on the heads of state and government at the G7 summit not to hand over control of artificial intelligence (AI) to tech companies. “Don’t hand over your responsibility to AI labs like mine,” Altman said Wednesday at a summit session in Evian, France. The head of the ChatGPT developer also called on governments to establish global standards for the rapidly developing technology.
