The Green Party () announced support for the candidacy of the former Minister of the Environment (Rede) for the Senate.
With this, she expands support Rede, PSOL and PDT defend the former minister’s candidacy for the Senate for São Paulo.
The new support gives Marina strength in the dispute with () who also wants the position.
Today, only the name of (PSB) for the state Senate is taken for granted. The other vacancy is open and the president (PT) will decide.
PV’s municipal directory of the capital of São Paulo announced the support after a meeting of party leaders with Marina Silva and said that her pre-candidacy represents “a leap in quality for the Senate and a fundamental voice of support for President Lula”.
Marina was already a member of PV, in 2010. Afterwards, she went to PT and later helped to found , where she is today.
