Vienna – Up to 35 degrees are expected in parts of Austria in the coming days. Many people use the high temperatures to cool down in the water. Caution is advised, the Samaritan Association warned in a broadcast on Thursday. Around 40 people drown in Austria every year. The water rescue service appealed to parents and guardians not to let children out of their sight. Caritas reopened places to retreat from the heat in Vienna and Lower Austria.
