The investigation by the Federal Police (PF) within the scope of Operation Compliance Zero indicates that senator Jaques Wagner (PT-BA) had received an apartment valued at more than R$2.4 million from Daniel Vorcaro, owner of Banco Master. The information was published by The Globe.
According to the newspaper, the PF investigation indicates that the senator also traveled frequently on the banker’s jets and received payments from Banco Master, over the years, through the company of his stepson’s wife, Bonnie Bonilha.
The transactions intended for the senator’s stepdaughter would be recorded in messages exchanged between Wagner and Augusto Lima, Vorcaro’s former partner. According to the PF, Bonnie Bonilha received around R$11 million from Master through a consultancy contract signed by the company BK Financeira, in several payments made by intermediaries who are also targets of the operation.
