They intervene in Bratislava’s Petržalka for an abandoned paddleboard on the water surface of Veľký Draždiak lake, all rescue components. This was confirmed for TASR by the spokesperson of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Bratislava, Lukáš Pecek. The Fire and Rescue Service (HaZZ) confirmed to TASR that they are looking for a possibly missing person.
Police received a report Thursday afternoon about the discovery of a paddleboard on the surface of the lake. “All emergency services are currently performing actions to verify the circumstances of the given find,” said Pecek for TASR.
Firefighters are currently searching the water level, according to Štefan Koči, the spokesman for the Regional Directorate of Health and Safety in Bratislava. “HaZZ members are assisting members of the Police Corps on Lake Veľký Draždiak in the search for a possibly missing person. Firefighters are currently searching the water surface,” stated for TASR Koči.
