The police deal with the Home Office event “On your own skin”. This was confirmed for TASR by the spokesman of the Bratislava Regional Police, Lukáš Pecek. “Police officers of the District Directorate of the Police Force in Bratislava I received via the District Prosecutor’s Office in Bratislava I criminal report related to the event organized by the Ministry of the Interior of the Slovak Republic“, Pecek brought up.
Gabriela Kováčová from the Regional Prosecutor’s Office in Bratislava told TASR that the criminal report was handed over by the supervising prosecutor to the investigator on June 1 for further proceedings. “The matter is at the stage of preliminary proceedings, no person has been charged,” she added.
Martina Bajo Holečková, MP for SaS, filed a criminal complaint in connection with the roadshow of the Department of the Interior. According to her, the police are investigating Interior Minister Matúš Šutaj Eštok (Voice-SD) and singer René Rendy for moral endangerment of youth. The minister is also being investigated for machinations in public procurement and abuse of the powers of a public officialclaims Bajo Holečková.
“The entire procurement of this action by the Ministry of the Interior was more than suspicious,” she pointed out. The MP also stated that Rendy promoted alcohol in front of children at this anti-drug campaign. “There are multiple videos of Rendy promoting alcohol to children at ministry events,” added.
