Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said on Sunday that armed forces would continue to occupy the ‘security zone’ in southern Lebanon, along the border with Israel, ‘for as long as necessary’.
‘We have established a security zone in Lebanon and will maintain it for as long as necessary to protect our people,’ he said at a conference in Jerusalem.
