Digitalization, driven by cloud services and artificial intelligence, is causing the need for computing capacity in Germany to skyrocket. The industry association eco assumes that the IT connection capacity of German data centers will increase by more than 50 percent by 2030. And according to the association’s calculations, the need is much higher: the actual demand is at least three times as high.
