Bucharest – Romania’s parliament refused the cabinet of Prime Minister-designate Adrian Vestea on Monday evening. The renegade liberal, whom President Dan had commissioned to form a government without any consultation with the PNL leadership, had presented himself to parliament with a minority cabinet consisting of post-communists (PSD), liberal rebels and technocrats. He had previously sought votes from the ultra-right opposition.
