Dean of the STF spoke about requests for impeachment against members of the Court during the “Roda Viva” program on Monday (June 22)
The former governor of Minas Gerais and pre-candidate for the Presidency (Novo) used his profile on X on Monday (June 22, 2026) for the interview given by minister Gilmar Mendes, from , to the program , from TV Cultura.
In the publication, Zema stated the following: “Gilmar Mendes is saying that impeachment requests are politicized. Is it that or is it because ministers who consider themselves untouchable are signing contracts and putting millions in their pockets?”.
Zema also said that the Senate should “undergo a larger-than-expected renovation this year” and that, in 2027, “These untouchables will start to fall.” –he has been publishing the series “The Untouchables”produced with artificial intelligence. The pre-candidate uses publications to criticize STF ministers and politicians.

No “Roda Viva”the dean of the STF was questioned about the , from 1950, and the decision he took in December 2025, to the Attorney General of the Republic to present requests against ministers of the Court to the Senate, responsible for judging them.
“The problem with this law is exactly that it has been in force for 75 years. It did not read the Constitution of 88. (…) We have accumulated a series of impeachment requests over time, which are addressed to the Senate and, from time to time, the president of the Senate files them, but certainly at some point the injunction will be submitted to the plenary and will be quietly approved”declared Gilmar.
