Adele would have been seen recording music in London, says newspaper

The singer Adele38, would be ready to resume her career after a period away from the spotlight. The British artist has been away from the music scene since 2024, when she ended her fixed tour at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, in Las Vegas.

Now, according to information from The Sun newspaper, the Grammy winner, who lives in the United States with , 13, and her fiancé, businessman Rich Paul, 45, was seen at Church Studios, in North London. The studio belongs to producer Paul Epworth, the singer’s longtime partner, and was one of the places where she recorded part of the album “25”, released in 2015.

According to a source heard by the British tabloid, Adele has dedicated herself body and soul to the creative process of the new material.

“Adele will spend at least two weeks in London writing and recording music. She spliced from session to session last week and will be back this week, but is keeping a low profile while she’s here. She feels comfortable at Church Studios, and that’s where Paul works. So it made sense to travel for these recordings rather than work elsewhere in Los Angeles,” the insider said.

Bon Iver frontman Justin Vernon has also been spotted in the studio in recent days, although there is no indication he is collaborating with Adele. The singer was photographed filming a music video outside the building last week.

According to The Sun, the choice of studio was related to Adele’s desire to reconnect with her origins to shape the sound of her new work.

“Adele has lived in Los Angeles for a decade, and although she loves the city, her London roots are very important to her. Those close to her have been encouraging this reconnection with where she grew up for this new work, because they believe it can inspire something different. The last album was well received, but it was very Hollywood. People fell in love with Adele precisely because she was down to earth and ‘like us,’ so she’s trying to recapture that by looking to her hometown for inspiration.”

If the rumors are confirmed, this will be Adele’s first new project since “30” (2021). The album, which marked the star’s return after six years without releases, brought hits that fell to the public’s liking, such as “Easy on Me” and “Oh My God”.
