The one in São Paulo will invest in a list of Bolsonaro candidates for the Chamber of Deputies, despite the fact that nationally the party currently tends towards neutrality.
Names such as São Paulo councilors Rubinho Nunes and Adrilles Jorge, and journalist Silvio Navarro, who worked in vehicles such as Folha, Veja and Oeste and more recently was on the Bolsonar radio station Auriverde Brasil, should run for federal deputy in the state.
The list could still win if it manages to reverse the ineligibility declared by the Electoral Court because of his candidacy for mayor of São Paulo in 2024. In this case, he could run for the Senate or for federal deputy, helping to pull the party forward.
Candidates for the Chamber must support the presidential candidacy of Flávio Bolsonaro (PL), with a strong anti-PT speech and defense of issues such as public security.
Navarro, for example, intends to link the Lula government to the defense of organized crime. He should partner with delegate Maria Corsato, from the 27th Police District of the capital, as a candidate for state deputy.
União Brasil and the PP, which form a federation, distanced themselves from Flávio after the revelation of messages he exchanged with banker Daniel Vorcaro, and ruled out a formal coalition with the PL senator. The tendency is for states to have the freedom to support the candidates they prefer in the election.
