Senator and presidential candidate Flávio Bolsonaro (PL-RJ) spoke on Wednesday night (25) and said that “never mistreated or humiliated a woman” and what happened, “apologize.” The statement was made after the publication of two videos of former first lady Michelle Bolsonaro in which she says she was “mistreated and humiliated” by Flávio.
Flávio stated that he recognizes Michelle’s work as president of PL Mulher and all the care she takes with Jair Bolsonaro:
At no time did I offend or intend to offend Michelle. If I did so at any point, once again, I apologize. I have respect and recognition for her for her work at PL Mulher, for her care for my father and for everything she represents for Brazil.
He also said that he tried to contact Michelle this Wednesday morning to invite her to participate in a meeting organized by Senator Damares Alves (Republicanos-DF) with female leaders, but that he received no response. “This morning, I made a point of calling Michelle and inviting her personally. I made yet another unrequited gesture. She didn’t answer. I left a message. She didn’t return either”, he wrote.

Michelle said in the video published this Wednesday that her stepson Flávio Bolsonaro humiliated her in a phone call. “He mistreated me and said I should stay out of party decisions,” declared.
According to the former first lady, Flávio “stabbed” when defending deputy André Fernandes (PL-CE) who is president of the PL in Ceará. Fernandes declared support for the pre-candidate for the government of Ceará Ciro Gomes (PSDB) who, according to Michelle, called Flávio himself and his brothers corrupt and “eggs of Nazi snakes”.
She is against the PL supporting Ciro Gomes for the state government and wants councilor Priscila Costa (PL-CE) to be one of the party’s Senate candidates. Representative André Fernandes said the day before that Michelle’s wish would not change the party’s decision in any way.
Finally, Michelle also said that Flávio comes to her house every week and, If he wanted the support of the former first lady, he would have already said. “Flávio comes to my house every week, more than once, if he really wanted to talk to me, he would have already spoken. If he considered my support necessary, he would have already talked. I’m on my own, I’ll remain collected. I didn’t look for him anymore either.”
